Jon Gosche Real Estate Do Not Call office policy

  1. Once per year agents must attend a training meeting either with Jon Gosche or with an approved entity such as NAR, ACAR, or IAR.  This training is to be documented and kept both by the agent and will be filed in the main Charlotte office agent’s file.
  2. Cold calling is prohibited.  No list from phone books or any other source may be used to call people who have not first contacted an official Jon Gosche Representative to request information.
  3. If a Jon Gosche Real Estate agents wishes to contact potential sellers from expired listings or non occupied owners in a specific zip code that agent must contact Jon Gosche prior to doing so.  A subscription to the zip code through the National Do Not Call Registry must be obtained and reviewed to avoid calling numbers on it.
  4. On first contact with a prospective customer or client a log is to be kept by the agent listing their name, phone number, and notation that calling them is permitted or not.  Agent must ask if it is ok for them or a company associate to call them.  If the customer says to do not call they must be entered on our office "company specific list. which can be accessed at  www.boiserealtystore.com/do_not_call_companyspecific_list.htm. 
  5. This information is to be emailed to Jon Gosche and Kasey Boles.
  6. As soon as physically possible Jon Gosche or Kasey Boles will enter this number on the company specific list so that anyone can check and make sure that a number they call is not on the list.    This will be titled the “Company-Specific list.” 
  7. Prior to calling a customer or prospect.  The agent is to check the Company-Specific List and refrain from calling any person who has requested not to be called or to be put on the list.
  8. Sign in web pages which require phone numbers for web entry will state that when entering a phone number the user is giving us permission to call them even if they are on a national or state no call list.  When the first contact is made the agent must ask if they may return calls or call them in the future.  If they say no they are to be given to Jon Gosche or Kasey Boles to be put on the Company-Specific List.
  9. This policy will be posted online and each agent is to keep the URL for reference.   If requested by anyone ask if they want it mailed to them or the link emailed to them so they can access it.  If mailed, copy and date the mailed copy and put the inquisitors name on it.  If emailed keep a copy of the email and email to Jon Gosche or Kasey Boles.  Both will keep a copy on file and this will be entered into the online Company-Specific list.  The office policy online is at http://www.boiserealtystore.com/jon_gosche_real_estate_do_not_call.htm
  10. Agents are to keep a log of clients and customers called and date each call.  At the first non weekend day of each month the list is to be emailed to Jon Gosche and Kasey Boles to be filed.  Any person who has asked for a change in call permission status is to be clearly marked so it may be entered on the Company-Specific List.
  11. The Company-Specific List may not be shared with anyone outside of Jon Gosche Real estate. 
  12.   The URL for this page may be given to anyone necessary and may and must be either mailed to or access by emailing the URL to an inquisitor must be granted.  If this occurs refer to item 8 so this event may be recorded on the Company-Specific List by Jon Gosche or Kasey Boles.
  13. This policy will be updated and changed as we find need for change.  Jon Gosche will continue to review it and to acquire information about the DNC National and any new State Laws to the best of his ability.  Agents should review this page monthly and note any changes.  New changes will be changed or added in color and remain in color for the following month.
  14. Agents are to sign on to www.Realtor.org and review the information provided concerning the do not call rules.

  16. Anyone can ask for the office Don not Call office Policy.  If someone asks you must send it to them immediately.  Record it and mail it certified.
